The Interstellar Earth Defence League or IEDL for short, is a intergovernmental military alliance created and designed to protect Earth from unknown threats in the event of an attack. The league constitutes a system of collective defence, where its member countries agree to mutual defence regardless of standing or current Earth affairs. However, the league does not protect against internal attack, that aspect is governed by its sister alliance: NATO.

There are many different mutations that can affect Nalariids just like humans, some severe and life changing, while others are minor and even some that can be beneficial!
